Banshu Hamono’s bladewear is designed and made by Osami Mizuike, a master craftsman from the town of Ono, who has been making utility knives, straight razors and shears for many years. Now, 70 years old, Mizuike is the only craftsman in the world with the ability to make the traditional Japanese scissors, Nigiri Basami.

Handle: 100% brass / blade: 100% high–carbon steel.
Blades can be re–sharpened and are designed to last for decades.

The knife is wrapped in assorted ‘banshu’ fabrics and presented in a small card box.
