Korbo have been making handwoven wire baskets in Sweden since 1922. Functional and timeless, the baskets were originally used by fishermen and farmers who needed strong carrying and storage solutions that would withstand extreme weather conditions, wear and tear.
Impressively, each basket is woven from a single wire, without weldings - making them a super hardwearing household storage option. Now, the baskets are used for everything from holding potted plants and fire wood to children's toys and fruit and vegetables.
Each basket is individually signed by the craftsman who made it. Over time a natural tarnish will develop on the surface of the wire giving it a beautiful patina.
Korbo medium handwoven copper basket. 35 litre.
This basket is part of the classic series, which was the first model produced in 1922. All other models have been developed from this original design.
