The Keramische Werkstatt Margaretenhöhe was founded in 1924 in Essen to encourage local artisanal skills. Their  hand-crafted beautiful ceramics reflect the formal principles of the Bauhaus with a seamless blend of form and function. Now under the direction of South Korean ceramicist Yongjae Lee.
