E-COMMERCE ADMINISTRATOR

The Role

An experienced and switched-on E-commerce Administrator, you will support our growing team in managing Dick’s online store, working in close collaboration with the Store Manager to ensure that our digital retail presence is kept up to date, user-friendly, and above all, optimised for sales.

Report to: Store Manager

Key Responsibilities 

E-commerce
Our E-commerce offer is expanding, so you will assist us in managing our online store to ensure it remains focussed on sales. As well as keeping product listings, pricing and promotions up to date, you will process orders, update stock inventory levels, and be on hand to quickly and efficiently resolve any customer issues should they arise.

Customer service
As a customer-focussed retail business, we have an eye for detail and take pride in our friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service. You will offer a high level of support across all channels, responding to customer enquiries in a timely fashion, whether offering advice on the latest season’s collections, processing online orders, or replying to emails.

Monitoring and development
Not only will you monitor and report on sales and site performance, making any recommendations for improvement, but you will also stay ahead of the curve when it comes to E-commerce best practice. Collaborating with our team, you will strive to ensure that our online store is aligned with our company’s goals and objectives.

Person Specification 

Required Skill and Experience

With in-depth technical knowledge and proven experience of running a Shopify online store as an E-commerce administrator or a similar role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, whether working independently or alongside our friendly team.  
Ideally educated to bachelor’s level in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, your keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills will set you apart, and you will be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

As part of our small and dedicated team, you will also provide support on the shop floor and with product photography when required, and experience in the clothing industry is preferred.
