Now, over twelve years later, our shop is one of the UK’s most highly regarded multi-brand stockists of men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, and home goods, offering a carefully curated selection of brands from across the world, all of which highlight exceptional craftsmanship and design.
Currently we are looking for an experienced and passionate retail professional to assist with the day-to-day management of the shop, driving growth by providing exceptional sales, administrative, and managerial support to the manager and owners. Above all, the right person will have a passion for high-end fashion and design, along with a keen understanding of how to foster an elevated customer journey through all sales channels.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
The shop floor is at the centre of everything we do, from buying and merchandising to marketing and events. It’s the heart of our business, where new and returning customers have an unmatched opportunity to see, feel, and hear what our shop is all about, making it our most important and valued sales channel. For this reason, your top priority will be to maintain our high shop floor standards, both visually and in terms of customer service, providing an elevated in-store experience for all customers – and ultimately driving sales.
Operations
As a customer-focussed retail business, we have an eye for detail and take pride in our friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service. As Assistant Manager, you will offer a high level of support across all channels, whether processing online orders, uploading new products to our website, or responding to answer customer emails in a timely fashion. Our carefully curated shop floor is something of a talking point, so you will help ensure that all products are regularly replenished and well-presented, and that our stock room is maintained to the same exacting standards.
HR
Our small but talented team sets us apart from other, bigger retailers, and we strive to foster a genuine sense of belonging and ensure that employees are always welcomed and well looked after. You will be a key part of this process, offering support with recruitment, induction and onboarding, sharing your infectious enthusiasm for fashion and superlative customer service. Assisting with everything from annual leave requests to appraisals and ongoing training opportunities, the Assistant Manager is a cornerstone of our retail family.
Marketing
At Dick’s we are genuinely passionate about the products we sell, and this inspirational approach comes across in our marketing activity, whether online or in-store. We regularly invite friends and customers to our eagerly anticipated shop events, and you will be on hand to ensure these are a success. What’s more, you’ll assist with a range of PR and digital marketing opportunities, contributing content to our regular periodical and newsletters, and assisting with in-house photoshoots when required.
Person Specification
Required Skill and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, preferably with experience of a high-end retail environment. With excellent interpersonal skills, you will be happy to build lasting relationships with our customers, suppliers and team. A confident and eloquent communicator, you will be equally at home talking to customers on the shop floor as you are drafting content for digital marketing, and your attention to detail and problem-solving will be just as polished.
