Roberta Hall-McCarron releases her debut book, The Changing Tides; a seasonal cookbook for the at-home chef, the recipes are created to highlight the best of Scottish seasonal produce.
The dishes are impressive but easy to follow, with elements that can be prepared ahead of time. Celebrating her own love of learning, Roberta has included a skills section at the front, which helps you prepare game, shellfish, and fillet fish, among other core skills.
Each season is concluded with a dinner menu for at-home hosting, designed to be delicious, but also allowing the chef to enjoy the party. The cover and interior sections feature the work of Scottish landscape artist Helen Glassford, whose expressive oil paintings depict seascapes from the Outer Hebrides and islands off the West Coast of Scotland.
