Inès Bressand is a Marseille-based designer whose minimal, yet playful basket bags are as much sculptural objects as they are everyday accessories. Originally developed during a research trip to Ghana, the baskets are hand-woven by independent Ghanaian artisans, before being artfully sculpted and pleated into shape in Bressand's atelier where the vegetable-tanned leather accents are also added.
