Shoes Like Pottery produce pared back, canvas and rubber trainers in Kurume, Japan, elevating classic designs into wearable works of art. As the name implies, all the shoes are entirely handmade, before being baked in a kiln to vulcanise the rubber, resulting in a hardwearing and flexible finish. What’s more, the “Uchide no kozuchi" hammer logo is said to bring good luck.
