Runaway Bicycle was started in 2014 by Preeti Verma with a vision that prioritises comfort over form, while linking the skills of weavers, dyers and traditional crafts people across India; a country with a rich heritage in fabric production and craft. The clothes are created to preserve these precious skills and pass the knowledge on through generations. The name was taken from her brother’s bicycle which she used to steal to go out galavanting - the brand champions that same wild and carefree spirit.
