Anitpast was launched in 1992 by Japanese duo Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato, who drew on their experience with print, dye and textiles to create a forward-thinking collection of fine-gauge socks and knitwear. Designed to whet the appetite for fashion, much like the moreish Italian ‘Antipasto’ dish does prior to a meal, their intricately patterned socks are as uplifting as they are wearable.
