Moonstar Folksy Canvas Shoes in Ivory

MoonStar Company has been producing their minimal, functional footwear in Kurume, Japan for over a century. Best known for their clean designs, solid construction, and vulcanised soles, each pair of Moonstar shoes is completely hand-made before being fired in a kiln at 120 °C (248 °F) for 70 minutes to ensure a hardwearing and flexible finish. These were made for walking.

Fine vulcanised rubber shoes, made from a soft cotton canvas, with piped seams extending across the shoe used as laces to tie in a bow. Simple and elegant in style.
