Oats and Rice was launched in 2015 as a sustainable cashmere label. Following her studies at Winchester School of Art, founder Shiyi’s curiosity for traditional techniques led her to the Kawashima Textile School in Kyoto, and later the Alashan region of Inner Mongolia, where she met the local makers who supply the softest yarns for her ethically crafted scarves and accessories.
