Orslow 105XX "The 1950s" Fit Selvedge Denim Jean

Orslow was created by Ichiro Nakatsu in 2005, and in the two decades since has rightfully earned a reputation for bringing heritage to a modern audience. A welcome antidote to the slew of “fast” fashion brands, Nakatsu and his team painstakingly recreate classic selvedge denim jeans, workwear and military styles from their archives. Slowly does it.

Selvedge denim jeans in wide straight fit made from a denim fabric that's slightly lighter and less structured than the classic 105's, featuring button fly.

"These jeans were meticulously designed  based on a detailed analysis of denim from the early 1950s. The fabric, woven on vintage shuttle looms using yarn spun on a 1953 spinning machine, develops a natural, uneven fade that evokes the character of jeans from that era. Cotton thread is used for stitching, blending seamlessly with the fabric and gracefully aging over time. Crafted using traditional 1950s manufacturing techniques, the side seams gradually twist to the right with wear - a deliberate reproduction of an authentic feature found in vintage jeans."
