Sage de Cret, which embodies both “sensible” and “decree”, was founded by Japanese designer, Kimitoshi Chida in 2001. Building on both workwear and military heritage traditions, the collections are fabric-driven, with each piece being treated to Chida’s expert finishing touches – whether garment dyes or pre laundering. All of which makes for practical, ultra wise and wearable contemporary tailoring.

A relaxed tapered trouser made from a cotton-linen fabric, slightly slubbed thanks to the linen. With an elasticated waist, this trouser is easily paired with knitwear, t-shirts, or casual jackets.
